In the 1930s, “Goodwin’s Magic Cloud Ammonia” grew popular and was our number-one seller.
In the 1940s, due to WWII ammonia rationing, we launched “Magic Sub-Amo” as an alternative to “Goodwin’s Magic Cloud Ammonia.”

In the 1950s, we focused on growing our brand through advertising and food brokers.
In the 1960s, we entered contract manufacturing to meet the demand for private-label grocery store chains.

In the 1970s, as our contract manufacturing and Goodwin-branded product line grew significantly, we relocated from Los Angeles, CA, to a larger facility in Garden Grove, CA.
In the 1980s, we expanded to the East Coast with a facility in Atlanta, GA. Contract manufacturing became our focus, accounting for more than 70% of the business.

In the 2000s, our footprint continued growing across contract manufacturing, distribution, and technological modernization.

In the 2010s, we discontinued Goodwin-branded products to focus exclusively on contract manufacturing for external chemical brands.
In 2022, we celebrated our 100th anniversary and invested significantly in production equipment, departments, and people.
