We are a fifth-generation family-owned and operated chemical contract manufacturing company founded in 1922. We have built our contract manufacturing capabilities to provide a full-service experience for consumer and commercial-grade chemical brands. Our key capabilities include strategic procurement, bulk chemical handling, chemical blending, full-service lab work, liquid filling, packaging, e-commerce solutions, warehousing, distribution, and software integration.

We manufacture chemical products for consumer use in global retail and e-commerce outlets and commercial use in large containers and bulk filling for the household, fabric, pet care, industrial, automotive appearance, functional fluid, agriculture, and marine industries. We do not own, manufacture or sell products under our brand.

We operate three manufacturing facilities and five warehouse and distribution centers in Garden Grove, California, and Lawrenceville, Georgia. Our facilities are ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified by Tüv Rheinland and EPA Registered. Our success over 100 years has been based on providing quality services and building long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees.

Founded in 1922 in Los Angeles, CA, we began as a consumer chemical products company manufacturing and selling Goodwin-branded household chemical products.

1920

1930

In the 1930s, “Goodwin’s Magic Cloud Ammonia” grew in popularity and was our number-one selling product among 40 products.

In the 1940s, due to WWII ammonia rationing, we launched “Magic Sub-Amo” as an alternative to our number product, “Goodwin’s Magic Cloud Ammonia.”

1940

1950

In the 1950s, we focused on growing our brand through investment in advertising and highly skilled food brokers.

In the 1960s, we expanded our product line and entered into chemical contract manufacturing agreements to meet the demand for private-label grocery store chains.

1960

1970

In the 1970s, due to the growth of chemical contract manufacturing and our product line, we relocated from Los Angeles, CA, to a larger facility in Garden Grove, CA.

In the 1980s, due to rapid growth in our chemical contract manufacturing business, we expanded to the East Coast with a facility in Atlanta, GA. Contract manufacturing became our focus, accounting for about 75% of our business.

1980

1990

In the 1990s, we expanded CA and GA sales, equipment, and facilities.

In the 2000s, our footprint grew across chemical contract manufacturing, distribution, and technological modernization.

2000

2010

In the 2010s, we discontinued Goodwin-branded products after 95 years to become a sole chemical contract manufacturer for consumer and commercial-grade chemical brands.

In 2022, we celebrated our 100th anniversary and invested significantly in production lines, R&D, people, and automation.
